The Groove-focused 7-Piece E-kit Delivers Professional Performance and Feel in a Convenient, Compact Package At An Accessible Price Point for Modern Musicians
CUMBERLAND, R.I. (April 15, 2025) – Alesis® Drums, a leader in electronic drum kits, today announces the launch of the Strata™ Club — the latest innovation in the Alesis Drums Strata family known for delivering professional studio-quality sound and authentic playing experiences, the Strata Club continues that legacy with a groundbreaking new design. Designed for today’s musicians, producers, and groove-forward drummers, the Strata Club redefines what’s possible in electronic drumming—merging cutting-edge innovation with a near-silent and compact, space-conscious design. This powerful 7-piece e-kit delivers unparalleled playability and dynamic response through the Core drum module, featuring 75+ kit presets, 370+ kit pieces, 800+ articulations, and deep customization options. Its intuitive layout and pro-grade processing allow drummers to focus less on gear and more on groove, feel, and authenticity—making it perfect for apartments, home studios, and rehearsal spaces where volume control is a must.
"We’re proud to introduce the Strata Club, a kit designed to eliminate the compromise between space constraints and professional performance," said John Boudreau, Director of Product Development. "We've engineered a solution that gives drummers and producers the authentic feel and sound they demand— without requiring dedicated space or soundproofing."
Real Dynamic Response, Unreal Playability
The Strata Club was designed with playability, dynamic response, and realistic drumming experience at the forefront, featuring high-quality mesh drum heads with adjustable tension for perfect rebound and Strata's patented anti-hotspot sensor system for natural, expressive playing surfaces. The Ride and Crash cymbals incorporate ARC Technology for 360-degree playing without dead zones, allowing players to choke cymbals by grabbing the edge for acoustic-like dynamic flourishes.
The Active Magnetic hi-hat stand-mounted system provides complete accuracy and control, compatible with various standard hi-hat stands and playing styles, while triple zone capabilities enable players to utilize the bow, bell, and edge of all cymbals to trigger distinct, realistic samples. This comprehensive design ensures the Strata Club delivers the responsiveness and expressiveness of an acoustic kit in an electronic format that captures the nuances of professional drumming.
Studio Technology in a Drummer-Friendly Package
At the core of the Strata Club is a sophisticated multi-core processor and 7-inch touchscreen interface that provides instant access to the renowned BFD3 sound engine—long respected in professional studios and now seamlessly integrated into a standalone e-kit experience. This powerful platform delivers access to an extraordinary 25GB sample library featuring 144,000 meticulously recorded samples from over 370+ different drum and percussion pieces with 800 unique articulations. These studio-caliber sounds were meticulously recorded and engineered in some of the world's most prestigious recording studios, ensuring professional-quality output for players. Unlike traditional e-kits, the Strata Club’s advanced mesh heads and next-gen multi-core processing capture every nuance of a drummer’s touch, delivering an acoustic-like response with studio precision.
The module's 7" touch screen provides intuitive navigation, DAW-style mixing, and drum set customization, complemented by six rotary dials, push encoder, transport controls, and dedicated volume knobs for different outputs. Players can create their ultimate custom kits using the onboard library of kit pieces, effects including compressors, EQ filters, and other audio tools, then save these personalized setups and create playlists for gigs—making the Strata Club equally valuable equally at home in studio sessions, stage performances, or silent practice environments.
