CUMBERLAND, RI and London — June 2, 2026 — Spitfire Audio and Akai Professional® today announce the official release of two Originals libraries for MPC®, marking the next chapter of the partnership first announced at NAMM 2026. Originals Intimate Strings MPC Edition and Originals Cinematic Pads MPC Edition are now available to buy, bringing Spitfire Audio's world-renowned recordings directly into the MPC workflow.
Both libraries were recorded at AIR Studios — home to countless blockbuster film scores, and have been carefully optimized for performance, immediacy and expressive control on MPC pads and controllers.

Originals Intimate Strings MPC Edition brings one of Spitfire Audio's most emotionally resonant chamber string libraries into the MPC ecosystem. Featuring 25 of London's finest players, the library captures intimate, detailed performances with pristine close and tree microphone signals, faithfully translated for MPC. Expression and Dynamics sliders, alongside built-in high-quality reverb, give players real-time expressive control designed for speed and playability.
CINEMATIC SOUND DESIGN MEETS THE MPC
Originals Cinematic Pads MPC Edition brings Spitfire Audio's cinematic sound design expertise to MPC for the first time. Featuring 23 presets of evolving, atmospheric pads — blending orchestral sources, synth elements, and processed textures — the library is built to shift and develop over time. Parameters including Reverb, Attack, Release, and Distort, alongside Mellow, Bright, and Cinematic signal options, allow producers to shape motion, intensity, and space directly from their MPC.
