Max LP embodies ION’s proven turntable know-how, offering an all-in-one solution for enjoying records and converting them to digital music files.
Cumberland, R.I. (January 7, 2014) – The USB turntable, invented by ION in 2003, gave vinyl enthusiasts everywhere the power to enjoy their music on modern devices and paved the way for ION’s entire family of conversion products that convert cassettes, VHS tapes, film negatives, and more. Now, ION is announcing their latest digital conversion turntable, Max LP.
Max LP is a simple all-in-one turntable that makes it easy to enjoy your records and convert them to digital music files on your computer. Stereo speakers are integrated into its body and supported by a uniquely designed suspension system, which solves the age-old problem of feedback when full-range speakers are mounted in a turntable body. Max LP features a rich wood finish, dust cover, and an 1/8-inch auxiliary input to connect and convert from other sources like a CD or cassette player. A headphone output and RCA outputs are included for for private listening or connection to a home stereo system.
“For a long time, turntable makers have tried to design models with built-in speakers, but the feedback has always been a problem,” said Wendy Fortin, ION Product Manager. “Max LP’s innovative speaker suspension system solves that problem. Vinyl-lovers now have a truly all-inone solution.”
With Max LP, transferring music to a computer is easy. Max LP connects to a Mac or PC using the included USB cable, and ION’s exclusive EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter software guides users with step-by-step instructions and automatically separates tracks. Max LP works with 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records.
ION will demo and display Max LP for the first time in Central Hall Booth 11638 at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, January 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
