Adding to the wildly popular Block Rocker family, ION Audio’s two new speaker systems offer something new for those who work hard and party harder.
Cumberland, R.I. (January 8, 2013) – ION, a leader in consumer audio and entertainment technology, announces Job Rocker and Party Rocker, two new all-in-one speakers systems with Bluetooth wireless technology built in. ION will exhibit both systems at Central Hall Booth 11604 at the 2013 CES show in Las Vegas from January 8-11.
When it comes to personal sound systems, ION Audio has long led the pack in terms of innovation and design. The five models that make up the best-selling Block Rocker Series have become standard additions to backyard parties, game-day tailgating, and even city nightlife at sports bars and restaurants.
With Job Rocker, ION is extending its audio expertise to the worksite, offering a powered speaker that will do a lot more than fill the room with music, though it does that extremely well—Job Rocker comes ready to stream music wirelessly from iPhone, iPod touch, Android devices and more, and its Bluetooth wireless technology means users can keep control of the music while they work. But Job Rocker also comes ready to be a power hub for tools or anything else that needs electricity: lights, battery chargers, wet/dry vacs, or anything else that needs to be charged or powered. Two AC power outlets are easily accessible on its side and there’s also a USB port to charge phones or other USB devices. Job Rocker comes equipped with large rubberized controls that are easy to handle even with gloves on, and its built-in battery will keep any jobsite filled with music for up to 50 hours. The highly visible orange cabinet is built to take a beating with a sturdy wood construction, heavy-duty steel handles, and protective corner bumpers.
“With Job Rocker, we’re also increasing range and wattage,” said Wendy Fortin, ION Product Manager. “It has a 100-foot Bluetooth range, 50 watts of peak power, and an incredible 50- hour battery life. The extended Bluetooth range is especially helpful for the jobsite—you can keep your phone or Bluetooth music player with you and never miss a call even as you control the music.”
While Job Rocker is built for the workweek, Party Rocker is made for the weekend. It comes with many standard Block Rocker features, including instrument and mic inputs, Bluetooth connectivity, and a microphone. But Party Rocker does more than provide the soundtrack for the party; it does the lighting, too. Crank up the music and Party Rocker’s built-in lighting automatically bursts into action, pumping and pulsating in time while also changing colors and patterns. These dazzling and colorful light patterns are projected onto ceilings and walls, creating an instant party atmosphere and fun for all. Party Rocker will be available in black and white.
Both Job Rocker and Party Rocker will be on display at Central Hall Booth 11604 at the 2013 CES show in Las Vegas from January 8-11.
